I was at the Lowes @ Boston Commons last night (to see Namesake).
Random story:
Deval Patrick (Governor of Massachusetts) walked in about 10 minutes before the movie was about to start, with his usual security entourage. The theater was pretty full by then.
Deval and his wife Diane managed to get two seats in the second row, extreme left. Probably the two worst seats in the theatre. So much so for being the Governor! There was an annoying photographer with them, who took a picture about every 8 seconds of the couple for about 10 minutes straight. She left as soon as the movie started. Phew!
ps. Namesake = great great movie
pss. Sorry for the terrible pic. That is the best my T-Mobile Dash can do without a flash!
