Jay is the Founder of Shareaholic. Shareaholic is an award-winning growth toolkit for websites to grow traffic, engagement, and monetization. Over a quarter-million websites use and trust Shareaholic’s products to engage with over 300 million people each month.
Before Shareaholic, Jay was VP of Products at Lookery, an online user-targeting network that offered lightweight, economical targeting data for over 200 million users. Lookery was acquired by Adknowledge. Prior to that, Jay was the Product Manager and founding member of the small team that was responsible for creating Compete.com, which was acquired by WPP [Nasdaq: WPP] for $150 million. In addition, Jay was co-founder of PopSignal, one of Boston’s largest professional networking organizations in its day that is widely credited with igniting Boston’s technology startup community.
Jay earned a B.S. cum laude in Computer Science from Tufts University. He also minored in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Multimedia Arts. At Tufts he was awarded the MacJannet scholarship. Jay is also a Fellow of The Leadership Program @ TiE, won the Grand Prize at Mozilla Foundation’s worldwide Extend Firefox competition, and in 2012 was named to the TR35 India โ MIT Technology Review magazine’s annual list of the world’s top innovators under the age of 35.
