Mozilla has updated their featured add-ons list, and Shareaholic is now on the featured list on Mozilla’s official add-ons directory! Hoooraayy!!
What does this mean for Shareaholic? More exposure, resulting in a bigger user & feedback community. According to Basil Hashem, the directory currently receives about 5 million pageviews per day with approximately 3% of the traffic to the recommended list.
None of this would be possible without your support. A BIG BIG thank you to Mozilla, and our users for supporting, using, and believing in Shareaholic.

A couple of months ago, Shareaholic was picked as one of Songbird’s 40 most community-requested add-ons – “…highly desirable to the Songbird community…” 🙂
When the community asks, we give. So we went to work, and we’re pleased to announce that Shareaholic now fully supports Songbird!

POPSignal is something Brian Balfour and I have been working on ever so slowly in the rare free time that we have.
POPSignal is a platform designed to enable communities to highlight and celebrate local area technology startups, entrepreneurs and professionals – both off and online.
We will shortly be launching a comprehensive directory resource for the Boston tech and startup community that will have deep information on startups, venture capitalists, service companies, and events in the tech community.
To kick things off offline, we’re organizing a party on May 15th aimed at bringing together the local Boston tech community. There will be a free open bar, food, etc. We expect around 500 people to attend, including venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, technologists, marketers and media influencers.
Date: Thursday, May 15th, 2008
Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Venue: Tequila Rain near Fenway Park (map)
RSVP: **RSVP now**, because the last event filled up in less than 24 hours. We expect around 500 people to attend, including venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, technologists, marketers and media influencers.
Can’t wait to see you there!
A big thank you to our sponsors, without which none of this would be possible. They include:
